"Sharing Knowledge, Experience and Opportunity"
The Niagara Bassmasters was formed in 1995 with a total of 6 members. We are one of approximately 30 chapters of the Ontario B.A.S.S. Federation, which became the 50th federation in the Bass Anglers Sportsman Society.
As a B.A.S.S. chapter our goal is to help fellow bass anglers better enjoy the sport of bass fishing and mobilize them to participate in public awareness projects and lobby for improved environmental protection. We have a powerful mandate to educate the youth of our community in the sport of bass fishing, conservation, and respect for the entire outdoors. Our Casting Kids competition has become a very successful, annual event.
We are committed to full adherence to all conservation codes and the reporting of any poacher or polluter of our waters.
Our members receive annual subscriptions to Bassmaster Magazine and B.A.S.S. Times. We offer several club “draw” tournaments that function as potential qualifiers to Federation level tournaments and ultimately the Bassmasters Classic. Our excellent participation and enthusiasm for all meetings, projects and events reflect our membership’s commitment to the success of the club.
We offer an opportunity for bass anglers of all skill levels to meet and share ideas and information. We organize club tournaments, including benefit tournaments, seminars, community based youth activities, and fishery enhancement programs. Above all, we offer a forum for bass anglers to have FUN!
We meet the 2nd Wednesday of every month at the Royal Cdn Legion on Spring Street in Niagara Falls. Meeting starts at 7:30 pm. New members welcome.
